... that today is the birthday of the Kentucky Derby? In 1875,
Aristides became the first horse to win the Kentucky Derby at
Churchill Downs. Aristides was ridden by jockey Oliver Lewis.
The most recent win was this year's Orb, ridden by jockey Joel
Rosario. Happy birthday, Derby!
