Did you know... ... that today{16th April} is the birthday of La Vache Qui Rit. In 1921, Leon Bel introduced a new cheese spread that he called The Laughing Cow (La Vache Qui Rit). He borrowed the emblem of a chortling cow that had been designed by Benjamin Rabier for vehicles conveying fresh meat to troops during World War I.
