History and inspirational quotes for 30th September

Today{30th September} is Surgical Anesthesia Day. William Morton, a
dentist from Charleston, Massachusetts, was the first person
to use ether to extract a tooth. In his Boston dental office
at 9 in the evening, Sept. 30, 1846, Morton used ether to
painlessly extract a tooth from Eben Frost, a local merchant.
