Land, a Japanese insect specialty store, sold a
rare Black
Diamond Beetle for a record 10 million yen
($90,000). Trivia
buffs: Although the news media sought to
identify the
free-spending, beetle-loving business
executive, he remained
anonymous. He wanted to keep his identity a
secret because he
was afraid of "bug-nappers." ;-)
