Today{23rd June} is Triumph over Adversity Day? Olympic track
star Wilma Rudolph was born on June 23, 1940, in St.
Bethlehem, Tennessee. Until she was 12, she had to wear a leg
brace because of polio. At age 20, she became the first
American woman to receive three Olympic gold medals -- by
running!
