Today{18th November} is Push-Button Phone Day. The first publicly
available push-button telephone was released in 1963, by the
Bell System. They were first made available in the towns of
Carnegie and Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The push-button
telephone was first invented in 1941, and eventually replaced
rotary dial telephones that were first used in 1891.
